The very best thing about Prom 2012 is that anything goes...and I do mean anything! Any color, any style, any fabric, and you'll have more to choose from this year than ever before. There are so many talented designers with such a unique eye for fashion, that we're sure you'll find a dress that's totally YOU.
Over the next several weeks, the staff at The Queens Choice (and a few guest fashionistas) will be highlighting some of our favorite trends for this season. We'll post about our favorite designers, style of dresses, the hottest colors and anything else we think you may find useful. So, here we go...
The first trend that we think will be super hot this season is the hi/low silhouette. If you're not sure what that means, it pretty simple...the dress is shorter, or high, in the front and longer, or low in the back. We think it's an awesome look for those of you that want something different and unique. Pretty much every major designer in the industry has come up with their own take and version of this emerging trend. Here are a few that we particularly LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Sherri Hill 8439 - this dress is so sparkly in person and the stones are unique and different
The next dress is also a Sherri Hill but it's a bit more expensive because of the STUNNING feather and beadwork. This dress is amazing in person! This is Sherri Hill 3853.
These two dresses are by Mac Duggal and Cassandra Stone. They have some of the most stunning fabric and beading and these two dresses are great examples of why this hi/low trend is going to be big this year. Check out Mac Duggal 6177M on the left and Cassandra Stone 4847A on the right.
One of our favorite designers, Mori Lee, has done several different looks with this great trend. What do you think about these 3 dresses.
Last but certainly not least we have just one of many hi/low designs by La Femme. La Femme is known for their vibrant colors and gorgeous beadwork, both of which this dress has! This is La Femme dress 17687.
